The apartment is idyllically situated in the centre of the Georgian city of Bath - on "one of the quietest, most beautiful backstreets in the world" (Giles Coren, The Times).
We're a stone’s throw from the Royal Crescent and The Circus, yet also only a short distance to numerous countryside walks. Our central location means that all of Bath's best restaurants, bars, cafes and shops are within easy walking distance. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a family holiday or for small groups.
We also have the advantage of private outdoor space too, so you can enjoy relaxing outside at the end of a busy day.
Sleep in Style
Along with the master front bedroom, two of the other bedrooms are snuggled away under the road and would have originally been the coal cellars for the entire house in the 1700s. So if you are after somewhere a little different, a bit quirky or original to stay - we are it! We’ve lived here and slept in these rooms for nearly twenty years – however for some it might seem a bit strange to sleep in a room with curved walls so we feel we should point this out before you book.
Exploring the city
Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. The city’s stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel – highlights include the iconic Royal Crescent and the majestic Circus. There’s plenty to see beyond the city, too, with stunning Somerset countryside to explore, as well as attractions like Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat Safari Park. The city is full of huge variety of cafes, restaurants museums and galleries - all a stone's throw from the apartment!
